Throughout this semester I have learned the importance of patient respect and becoming open to many cultures. I found this to very interesting for me because I have always been interested in other countries, cultures and practices. However, I now see the true importance to acquire such knowledge on diversity because when we start our practice next semester we are all going to be dealing with a variety of people. As student nurses we must start to adapt to these changes and provide equal care to all of our patients and treat them with the respect they deserve.

I think that this is one of the most important aspects of nursing. Adapting and accepting different beliefs and values of other individuals is important when proving patient care.
